African Bronze Honey Project is a Canadian brand that sells fairly traded honey, shea butter, beeswax products and more. We carry their beeswax candles (beehive votives and 40-hour pillar candles).

Anchal Project

The Anchal Project works from the US with Indian producers to create beautiful, usually organic or upcycled products that look as lovely as they feel. When you touch an Anchal product, you can feel the quality right away. We carry cotton scarves, various housewares (tea towels, aprons, etc.), as well as upcycled organic cotton products made with off-cuts (stuffed animals, scrunchies, pencil cases and more). The animal stuffies are especially cute and use scraps that can’t go into larger pieces like scarves, quilts and so on.

Ark Imports (Ark Fair Trade)

Ark Imports (also called Ark Fair Trade) is a Canadian company that works with skilled knitters in Nepal to produce beautiful knitwear. Made from 100% New Zealand wool and lined with fleece, they’re at once cozy and durable. We carry winter accessories (knit toques and mittens) and also some apparel from Ark Imports, such as the Jane Tunic (think little black dress, but also available in teal) and the Dahlia long-sleeve shirt with a beautiful floral pattern.

Conscious Step

Concsious Step is an American company that makes socks from Fairtrade Certified cotton. As a bonus, each pair also supports a charitable cause, so you can feel good about your purchase really making a difference.

Good Paper

Good Paper (US-based) employs marginalized makers in Philippines and Rwanda to make beautiful handmade cards. Ranging from birthday cards to thank you and Christmas cards, there’s a great selection of greetings available for anyone you’d like to send a special message!

The Good Tee makes great wardrobe essentials that are ethical throughout the whole, carefully-vetted supply chain. It’s slow fashion that’s making a real difference! A Canadian company.

Green Campus Cotton

Green Campus Cotton is a Canadian brand that makes t-shirts and other essentials from Fairtrade Certified cotton. We carry a t-shirt from them that bears an original pineapple design.

Just Trade UK

Just Trade UK specializes in fairly traded jewellery that is as beautiful as it is timeless. Partnering with producers in Asia and South America, they employ skilled makers to create stylish necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. We carry all of the above.

Maggie’s Organics

Maggie’s Organics is a US-based brand that makes fair trade clothing and accessories. They actually started as a sock company and have since expanded into a wide range of casual clothing. We carry their athletic wear and essentials like leggings and basic tees.

Pebble Toys

Pebble Toys is an American company that works with skilled knitters and crocheters to make fairly-traded toys and baby items. We carry their baby rattles, baby hats and blankets.

Ten Thousand Villages

Ten Thousand Villages is a pioneer in the North American fair trade movement. While few stores remain in Canada, there are still many locations across the US. We carry various goods from Ten Thousand Villages US, including Christmas ornaments, wool dryer balls, towels, notebooks, jewellery and more.

Zatoun

Zatoun works with Paletinian olive oil producers to make absolutely exquisite olive oil. They also offer za’atar spice blend and 100% olive oil castile bar soap. While we are only able to carry these products sporadically, when we do have them, they are some of our very best-selling items. So if you see they’re in stock, be sure to grab them up!
